P90X Workout Schedule

If you are trying to decide if you should buy P90X, you may be wondering about the workout schedule. I know it was something that I looked into before I bought it. The P90X workout schedule is fairly intense, so I think it is important to know what you are getting into before you make the decision to purchase it. There are actually three workout schedules that come with the P90X program: P90X Standard, P90X Doubles, and P90X Lean. The schedule that I am going to outline below is the Standard P90X workout schedule. It is divided into three four week phases and then there is a final recovery week at the end. I am not going to give the details of each workout because that is what you pay for when you buy the program. What I will give you is the name of the DVD(s) that you follow each day as well as the amount of time it takes to do the workout in the form of (minutes:seconds). I will do this for every day of the program.

Standard P90X Workout Schedule

Phase 1

Weeks 1 – 3

Day 1: Chest & Back (52:50), Ab Ripper X (16:07)
Day 2: Plyometrics (58:36)
Day 3: Shoulders & Arms (59:53), Ab Ripper X (16:07)

If you think P90X might be right for you, you should read my review of P90X before you make your purchase. If you decide to buy the program, make sure you buy it from a reputable seller. Some people are selling just the DVDs without the manuals. Others are including the nutrition guide and workout schedule, but only as a pdf file. Just make sure you know what you are getting before you hand over your money. Your best bet is to just buy it from the official P90X website. That way you know you are getting the real deal.
