Tone Your Legs And Butt With A New Pair Of Reeboks

EasyToneYou’ve heard people say, “sex sells.” I suppose it’s true, but it’s still surprising when I see it used on products that seem to be as far removed from anything sexual as possible. This was the case last night while I was watching TV. All of a sudden, I find myself watching a commercial with two breasts talking to each other about being jealous of the butt. Almost the entire commercial is a close up of a woman’s breasts until it finally switches to a close up of her butt. Only in the final seconds of the commercial do you find out that this is actually a shoe commercial. During the next commercial break, I watched another commercial that, until the final seconds, showed only a woman rolling around in a bed wearing nothing but a pair of panties. At the end, it pans down and you see that she is also wearing a pair of Reebok EasyTone walking shoes. The commercials definitely grab your attention, so I guess it works.

I went online to check out the shoes and found out that Reebok has more commercials in this campaign. The woman in this one is actually wearing clothes, but the message is right along the same line as the others.

My purpose here isn’t really to talk about the commercials. What I’m really interested in is the claims they are making about their EasyTone shoes. They claim that you will get a tighter butt and toner hamstrings and calves if you walk around in these shoes. If their claim is true, they may well be worth purchasing for any of you ladies out there who want to tone up your legs and butt.

So, here are the claims. If you walk around in these shoes, you will work your calves and hamstrings up to 11 percent harder and you will tone your butt up to 28 percent more than if you were to walk around in regular sneakers. If they are right, you could see some significant improvements in your legs and butt just by changing your shoes and walking around like you normally do.

They don’t make any mention of it, but I wonder if the instability caused by these shows has any core strengthening effects. If they throw off your balance a little, I would assume that you would use your abdominal muscles to compensate to some degree. Who know, maybe these shoes will also help you get six pack abs.

The Today Show did a report comparing the Reebok EasyTone to a couple of other shoes that are also supposed to work you legs and butt. Watch the video below to see their results.

I’m really curious to know if these shoes really do what Reebok says they do. Here’s the problem, I’m not a woman so I can’t review these shoes for you. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to go walking around in a pair of pink women’s walking shoes just so I can let you know if they work. So, if any of you ladies would like to buy a pair of EasyTones and then send me a well written review, I will post it here so the rest of the readers can see if they should try them out. Also, if you don’t want to write a full review, feel free to leave a comment below. I look forward to hearing what some real women think of these shoes.
