Lose Weight With Skechers Shape-Ups

If you watched the Super Bowl last night, you probably noticed the Skechers commercials for their new Shape-Ups shoes. If you didn’t see it, here it is.

Much like the Reebok EasyTone shoes, the Shape-Ups are supposed to help you get in better shape by just walking around. However, unlike the EasyTone, Skechers is marketing their Shape-Ups to men and women. There is a definite difference in their marketing approaches. While the Reebok marketing focuses mainly on getting a shapelier butt and legs, Skechers says their Shape-Ups are designed to promote weight loss, tone muscle, improve posture, and reduce stress on knees and ankles. These things appeal much more to guys than does getting a shapely butt. On top of that, they even have Joe Montana as their celebrity endorsement. So guys, if you were feeling left out by Reebok, perhaps a new pair of Skechers is in your future.

So, how do these Shape-Ups help you shape up? From the Skechers website, the Shape-Ups have “a unique soft kinetic wedge insert and dynamic rolling bottom to simulate walking on soft sand.” If you’ve ever been jogging on the beach, you know how much extra work it takes to walk in sand. Imagine having to do that extra work every time you walk anywhere. I can see how it would make a difference.

If you are looking for an easy and convenient way to get more exercise in your life, check out the Skechers website and get yourself a new pair of Shape-Ups.
