Maximize Your Muscle – Is It Possible To Grow Beyond Your Genetic Potential?

UPDATE 31 Aug 2010: Maximize Your Muscle is now open. Click here to check it out.

If you want to burn fat, gain muscle, and get in shape, then there is one thing that you need to learn more than anything else. Without understanding this one principle, you will never reach your body’s true potential. It’s not some earth shattering secret or anything, but you need to realize it and come to fully understand it. So here it is:

Physical fitness is as much mental as it is physical.

That’s it. No secret exercises. No magic combination of sets and reps. No pills, powders or foods that strip the fat away in your sleep. The most powerful secret ingredient that you will ever find is your own mind. Learn to master your mind and you will be amazed what you can do with your body.

Now I’m not talking about meditating your fat away or anything like that. I’m talking about self control and having the will power to push yourself beyond the limits that others have set for you.

I mentioned in my last post that Vince DelMonte is about to reopen his Maximize Your Muscle program for three days. The focus of this program is helping you to “blow beyond your genetic potential.” One of the things that Vince focuses on is the power of your mind and how others can influence it.

As part of the Maximize Your Muscle program, you get a 2 CD set that contains an interview style overview of the program. I just finished listening to it and I was very impressed. Vince covered a lot of material, but one of the things that impressed me the most was the motivational aspect of it. He talks about how your friends, family, and others can influence your mind and hold you back from reaching your true potential.

It’s important to surround yourself with people that have similar goals as you and who will motivate you to reach your goals. If your friends and family are not those people, I’m not suggesting that you should abandon them, but it is important to make associations with new people that can provide the support you need.

It can be difficult to find and build those kinds of associations, but one good way to do it is through an online community. When you join the Maximize Your Muscle program, you will become part of an online community of people who are motivated and dedicated to the same things as you. All of the members of the program have access to a private forum and private monthly coaching calls. On top of that, you will get new content from Vince ever month that will be full of motivation.

You will be hard pressed to find that kind of support among your friends and family. Even if you try to  make a lot of new friends, it would be difficult to find a bunch of people that are that laser focused on your goals.

As a final note, I’ve talked a lot about the importance of the mind but I don’t want you to think that the physical side isn’t just as important. You have to know what you are doing if you want to get in great shape. Don’t worry though, Maximize Your Muscle will teach you everything you need to know to get into the best shape of your life.

Make sure you stay close because Vince will be opening the doors to his program in a few short days and I don’t want you to get left behind. Check back often because I’ll be giving you more information over the next several days.
